National Park Candlelight Concert Series

A national musical journey celebrating America’s spirit on the occasion of our nation’s 250th anniversary

The Eden Candlelight Concert Series invites communities across the nation to gather at National Parks and iconic American spaces to experience intimate, emotionally resonant performances honoring the spirit of our nation as we celebrate America’s 250th anniversary.

Each concert illuminates the stories, ideals, and cultural threads that have shaped the American journey, offering a space to reflect on where we’ve been, who we are, and what we aspire to become. With candlelight softly illuminating the aisles and immersive lighting transforming each venue, these concerts create contemplative environments where music, memory, and national heritage come alive.

The Concert

Each event is uniquely programmed to reflect a facet of the American story: imagination, innovation, identity, resilience, land, hope, and belonging. Concerts feature place-based storytelling, immersive lighting, and historical and cultural vignettes woven between musical moments. Performances span American genres including Americana and folk, jazz, classical, Latin, bluegrass, and Appalachian traditions.

Youth & Family

Before each concert, parks come alive with creative learning and play. Interactive exploration zones offer instrument-building stations, nature-inspired art-making, family music circles, and Junior Ranger-style activities linking music, nature, and history. Music-tech innovation workshops invite students to explore sound design, music production, and collaborative creation.

The Shared Table

Community gatherings that unite food, music, and storytelling to spark reflection and connection. These intergenerational gatherings serve as cultural campfires, spaces for joy, conversation, and shared celebration of the American experience. Featuring locally sourced meals, storytelling circles, and live music, each gathering invites participants of all ages to sit together and explore what it means to be part of the American story.
